Our travel day from Oklahoma to Des Moines was nothing but easy. We covered about 500 miles over approximately 9.5 hours. The drive through Oklahoma was smooth, and although we encountered a bit of construction on the Kansas I35 turnpike, it didn’t pose any major delays.

The large sites at Timberline RV Resort are nothing short of awesome. They are wide and deep, providing ample space for RVs and other equipment. Each site is nicely fitted with a table along with a firepit, perfect for those cozy evenings by the campfire. Timberline RV Resort offers a range of amenities that cater to everyone. For the kids, there’s a recreational area where they can burn off energy and make new friends. And for our four-legged companions, there’s a fully fenced and well-maintained dog park where they can play freely.
