Last weekend, we embarked on a memorable vacation to Black Rock Park, situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Buchanan. From March 23rd to 27th, we had the most amazing time soaking in the warm Texas sun, enjoying the breathtaking lake views, and partaking in various outdoor activities. The Weather One of the highlights of our weekend getaway was the fantastic weather we enjoyed during our stay. The last few days, in particular, were absolutely delightful. The clear blue skies and balmy temperatures made for the perfect backdrop to our outdoor adventures. With just a light breeze rustling through the trees, it was as if Mother Nature had personally rolled out the red carpet for us.
Our Campsite - Site 15 We were lucky enough to secure site 15 for our stay, which turned out to be perfect for our 45ft fifth wheel. There was ample space for our truck, and the site was well-maintained, making it easy for us to set up camp. The sites a nice and big with plenty of room for the kids, pets and outdoor activities and not having to share them with a neighbor right on top of you! The cleanliness of the area was impressive; we even found a sparkling clean grill (a rare find!) and a well-kept fire ring. It was evident that the park staff took great care in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guests. Also the prices were great for
Activities and Attractions Black Rock Park offered a variety of activities for everyone in our group. The lake itself provided ample opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The camp ground also offers canoe and kayak rentals and even miniature golf. We also took advantage of the park's hiking trails, which allowed us to explore the stunning landscape and take in the abundant local flora and fauna. In the evenings, we would gather around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the starlit sky.

From the ideal weather conditions to the excellent campsite amenities and the array of outdoor activities, it was truly a perfect escape.
