Wanderlust RV Park – A Week in the Ozarks

We pulled into Wanderlust last Monday — February 16 — expecting a quiet winter stay in the Ozarks.

What we found was one of the most thoughtfully designed RV communities we’ve experienced in the Midwest/South corridor.

First Impressions

It doesn’t feel like a typical Arkansas campground.

It feels curated.

Clean lines. Intentional layout. Sites positioned with space between rigs. Not crammed. Not chaotic. No cluttered long-term eyesores.

You can tell ownership cares about aesthetic and experience.

Pulling in on a Monday in February meant things were quiet — which gave us room to really feel the park without peak-season noise.

• Full hookups positioned conveniently (no weird sewer stretches)

• Easy back-ins

• Plenty of room for slides

• Fire rings + seating areas

Big rig friendly? Yes.

Turns are manageable, even for larger fifth wheels and Class A’s.

Leveling was minimal for us — always a win.

This is where Wanderlust stands out.

Even in off-season, it doesn’t feel transient.

It feels intentional.

We met:

• A couple traveling full-time through the Ozarks

• A remote worker staying for a month

This is elevated simplicity.

We came for a stop.
