Our Purchase Check List

This list isnt exhaustive but I feel it covered the areas we went through the RV.

If your dealer is not willing to work this list then you can not accept the RV until they do.

do not leave the lot til you are happy. We spent 7 hours doing our PDI

Garage

• All beds go up and down

TV works

• Cabinet hardware

• Outside door locks all work

• Outside steps

Outside lights

• Smoke detectors

• Gas spots

Go through the solar prep

Where on the roof so they enter the coach etc

Cooling heating

• Run all ac’s max for 15 minutes

• Running heater max for 15 minutes

• Run heat pump

• Inspect units on the roof

• Inspect heating unit

• Check propane tanks lines and regulators

• Check temps on ac and heater

• Inspects the controls

Auto Level System

• Review pump and reservoir

• Cycle 5 times and check for level

Check all attachment points

Bathroom master

• Turn all faucets on look for leaks

• Check under cabinets

• Fills sink and sit for 15 minutes

• Test fan

• Full and flush toilet 5 times

• Check for leaks with toilet filled

• Turn on shower and let run for 15 minutes check for hot and cold, sprayer works

• Check all cabinets and hardware check for defects

Master

• Check all drawer

• All cabinets and doors for closure

• Make sure not trim is broken or damaged

• Check closet tracks

• Check all lights and bulbs

Check all blinds

• Check all plugs and USB ports

Check bed lifts are right and adjusted

• Check emergency exit window

Check flooring for damage

• Check walls for damage

• Check ceiling for damage

Living room

• Check all drawer

• All cabinets and doors for closure

• Make sure not trim is broken or damaged

• Check all lights and bulbs

• Check all blinds

• Check all plugs and USB ports

• Check emergency exit window

• Check flooring for damage

• Check walls for damage

• Check fireplace

• Check all recliners

• Check stereo

• Check TV

• Check TV antenna raise lower adjust and check reception

Check front door all hardware works

Door locks

Screen doors works

Kitchen

• Check all drawer

• All cabinets and doors for closure

• Make sure not trim is broken or damaged

• Check closet tracks

Check all lights and bulbs

• Check all blinds

• Check all plugs and USB ports

• Check emergency exit window

• Check flooring for damage

• Check walls for damage

Oven

• Check for defects

• Make sure it heats to temp and check

• All burners and nobs work

• Check all lights

• Lite oven max temp

• Lite burners max temp

Sink

• Fill sink and let sit for 10 minutes

• Check hot and cold

• Inspect all water lines

• Make sure sprayer works

Microwave

• Make sure all buttons work

• Boil water

• Check all displays

• Hidges

• No defects

On the roof

Check all seals and sealant

Pull all covers to inspect

• Check antenna

• Check ladder

Control panel

Check everything

Check spare

Lower spare

• Fill all tanks for weight test

Docking station

Test all configurations

Test all pull handles

Test all fittings

Tear faucet

Test door and locks

Generator

• Start and run generator

• Check oil

• Test transfer pump
